A new chapter begins

Abstract

This editorial presents the new phase of “Prolepsis”, the journal of the Official College of Psychology of Castile and León, which has contributed to the scientific and professional dissemination of psychology since 2008. Following a process of renewal, the publication has been transformed into a peer-reviewed scientific journal, in line with international editorial standards. Key improvements include the creation of an Editorial Board comprising university lecturers and an International Scientific Committee made up of specialists of recognised standing. Furthermore, the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform has been implemented to optimise editorial management, and the process of joining Crossref has begun to ensure that published articles are assigned DOIs. The journal has also adopted an open-access model with no costs to authors, promoting a more equitable dissemination of scientific knowledge. Through these initiatives, Prolepsis reinforces its commitment to quality, innovation and the advancement of psychology.
