About the Journal

PROLEPSIS is a biannual open access scientific journal published by the Official College of Psychology of Castile and León (COPCYL), specialising in the publication of original research in Psychology.
The journal aims to promote the dissemination of quality scientific knowledge and contribute to the development of psychological research grounded in rigorous methodological criteria, empirical evidence, and international best practices in scientific publishing.
PROLEPSIS exclusively publishes manuscripts submitted to double-blind peer review. Empirical quantitative and qualitative articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, methodological studies, instrumental studies, and data-based programme evaluations are accepted.
 
The journal prioritises works that present:
  • Clearly defined methodological designs,
  • Appropriate and replicable analyses,
  • Solid theoretical grounding,
  • Prudent interpretation of results,
  • Compliance with international ethical and scientific standards.
 
Opinion pieces and purely outreach-oriented texts are not accepted.
All content is published open access, at no cost to authors or readers, under a Creative Commons licence. Authors retain their copyright, and the journal ensures the digital preservation of its content through archiving systems linked to Open Journal Systems (OJS).
